Lucille C. Ray, age 76 a resident of Kenosha died November 14, 2006 at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha.
Born on February 24, 1930 in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Rose (Bernardi) Garramone.
She attended St. Thomas Catholic Grade School, Lincoln Jr. High, and was a graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School.
She was employed at Great Lakes as a legal secretary and worked for local attorneys Fred K. Plous and Bob Newman.
On May 12, 1955 in Kenosha, she married Ivan Ray.
She loved to swim at the YMCA. She treasured the places she traveled with her husband, especially her 16 trips to Hawaii. She enjoyed spending time with her dogs. She loved her grandchildren very much and loved spending time with family.
She is survived by her husband Ivan of Kenosha; two sons, Kyle (Linda), and Kristopher all of Kenosha; three grandchildren, Justin, Ray, and Morgan Ray, and one step-grandchild Jason Karls.
Her parents, one brother Philip Garramone, and one son Kurt Ray preceded her in death.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday November 17, 2006 at 11:00AM at St. Therese Catholic Church in Kenosha (2020-91st St.). Visitation will be held on Friday at the church from 10:00AM until the time of mass. Burial will take place at St. James Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated.
