Lonna Counard (1943 – 2007)

Lonna Marie Counard, age 64, died Friday, May 25, 2007 at Wheaton Franciscan Hospital ? All Saints.

She was born January 25, 1943 in Green Bay, Wisconsin, to Hubert and Erma (Gulbrand) Counard.

She was employed for over 30 years as a nurse?s aide at Ridgewood Health Care until she retired in 2005.

She is survived by a brother Don Counard of Milwaukee; a half brother Dale Counard of Seattle WA; two sisters Drina (Jim) Goodfellow of Berwyn IL, and LoAnna (Dayle) Hammens; two sisters-in-law Emily Counard of Menomonee Falls WI, and Rosemary Counard of Manitowoc WI; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. She is further survived by long time good friends Kathy Vandenberg, Marcia Harrington, and Nettie Lamb.

She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother Keith Counard, and two half brothers Cletus and Robert.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2007 at 11:00am at Mound Cemetery Chapel (1147 West Blvd. Racine). Visitation will be from 10:30am until 11:00am at Mound Cemetery Chapel. Burial will take place later at Ft. Howard Cemetery in Green Bay.
