Linda Elaine Cotrell (Polston), age 83, of Kenosha, passed away on February 4th, 2024. She was born in Newark, Arkansas, on August 3rd, 1940, to the late Arlie Polston, and Lucy (Street) Polston. She was married to Gene W. Cotrell on May 24th, 1960, in Peoria, IL. She spent most of her life in Peoria and moved to Kenosha in July of 2019 with her son and daughter in law. She was a member of The Church of Christ Northwest in Peoria, IL, for many years.
She is survived by her son: Dan (Lindsey) Cotrell of Wisconsin, grandchildren: Lindsey, Lauren and Adam of Illinois, and siblings: Dennis (Annette) Polston of Tennessee, Arlene (Ray) Brown of Arkansas, Tommie (Bill) Fore of Georgia, Marva (Aubrey) Herring of Missouri, Sharon (Richard) Majors of Illinois, Shirley (Hunter) Triebel of East Tennessee, and Janet Weaver of Illinois. She is preceded in death by her husband: Gene Cotrell, daughter: Dona Cotrell, brothers: Jim Polston, Bob Polston, Ronnie Polston, and Connie Polston.
Burial of cremated remains will take place at Fon Du Lac Cemetery in Peoria, IL, (143 Arnold Rd.) on Friday, February 16th, 2024, at 11 A.M.
