Lee B. Ives, age 56, of Beach Park passed away on Monday, June 8, 2020 at Vista Medical Center East in Waukegan. Lee was born on October 28, 1963 in Waukegan to Lee D. Ives and Grace (Barry) Lucas. He attended Waukegan area schools and graduated in 1981 from Waukegan East High School. Lee most recently was employed by Whitmore’s and previously worked for Raymond Chevrolet in Antioch. Lee had a great sense of humor and a quick wit. He was always ready with a joke or a good story. He enjoyed playing golf and playing pool with friends. He especially enjoyed the time he spent with his family.
He was preceded in death by, his paternal grandparents, Lee and Jane Ives; his maternal; grandparents, Bill and Margaret Skewis and a step-brother, Brian Lucas.
Lee is survived by, his Father, Lee D. Ives of Mundelein; his Mother, Grace (John) Lucas of Punta Gorda, FL; two sisters, Sheena Ives-Shelafoe of Beach Park and Kim (Andy) Narlock of Antioch; two nephews, Cade Ives-Ketlinski and Braiden Narlock; his niece, Addison Narlock as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A memorial service for Lee will be held at a later date.
