Lauren A. Bethke, age 50, passed away at her home in Pleasant Prairie on March 17th, 2016 with her husband and son by her side.
Lauren was born in Racine on July 6th, 1965 to William and Sharon (Hoey) Winterle. She was united in marriage with Corey Bethke on December 29th, 2000 in Kenosha. Lauren worked for 32 years for JC Penney.
A voracious reader, a fantastic cook and a lover of travel, Lauren enjoyed her home, family and pets. She doted on her niece Madison and her compassionate nature made Lauren a “Mother” to all who sought her wise advice.
Lauren is survived by her husband Corey Bethke of Pleasant Prairie and by her son Brandon Winterle of Madison. In addition she is survived by her siblings, Trisha (Michael) Jaeger, Eric (Kathy) Winterle and Matt Winterle and by her husband’s siblings, Theresa (John) Lamon, Eric (Dawn) Bethke and Gregory (Kathy) Bethke as well as her in-laws Floyd and Shirley Bethke and her special niece Madison Jaeger. She is also survived by many other family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Preceding Lauren in death were her parents and a brother William in infancy. Welcoming her joyously on the other side will be her cat Annie and her Airedales Max and Daisy.
A memorial service for Lauren will be held on Wednesday March 23rd, 2016 at 7:00PM at Kenosha Christian Reformed Church (7506-25th avenue). Visitation with the family will take place on Wednesday at the church from 5:00PM until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the family would be appreciated.
