Laura Jane (Krogh) Littel, age 58, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 27th after a three-year journey with endometrial cancer. She was born March 1, 1960 to the late Richard (Carol) Krogh of Marshall, TX and Joyce (and the late James) Young of Kenosha, WI.
Laura grew up and was educated in Kenosha, graduating from Tremper High School in 1978. On October 1st, 1988, Laura married the love of her life, Michael Joseph Littel. Together they have five amazing sons, Kyle (Cassie) Littel of Danville, IN, Matthew (Elena) Littel of Kenosha, WI, Ethan (Megan) Littel of Milwaukee, WI, Caleb Littel of Pleasant Prairie, WI, and Jordan Littel of Madison, WI. Laura has one adorable grandson, Paxton Joseph Littel, and a beautiful granddaughter, Brynlee Rose Littel. Spending time with family was what brought the most joy to Laura’s life. She was extremely proud of the incredible young men her sons have become and loved them tons!
Laura is survived by her husband and five children, two grandchildren, two brothers Gordie (Jenn) Krogh of Kewaunee and Dave (Mary) Krogh of Chaska, MN; a sister Heather (Mike) Carrick of Mequon and her mother Joyce Young as well as many nieces and nephews and her two step families, the Koesels and the Youngs.
Laura was preceded in death by her father, Richard Krogh and her sister, Sharyl (Marvin) Davis.
Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Friday, August 3rd from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and again on Saturday, August 4th at 10 a.m. until the time of the memorial service being held at 11 a.m. The visitation and memorial service will be held at Journey Church, 10700 75th Street, Kenosha.
Laura’s family would like to thank Dr. Kamelle, Dr. Jeffreys, and all the amazing staff at Aurora, especially the hospice nurses for providing Laura with compassionate care over the last three years.
