  • Rita McKimmy (Frederking) says:

Larry was a good friend of my husband, Jim Frederking. They both worked together many years at Snap-On. I always had great respect for Larry,
knowing that he was a US Navy veteran. Larry served on the USS Forrestal, during the horrific deck fire on July 29th, 1967, that killed 134 sailors & injured 161. I salute you & all veterans, who have seen & dealt with the unimaginable.

With great sympathy for his family. R.I.P. in the hands of God, Larry.

My wife Rita pretty much said it all , but I’d like to add that Larry was one of my closest friends . If I or anyone needed anything day or night Larry was there. He always was there. That’s how he was. Thank you Larry, God Bless You and thank you for serving our Country.

  • He wasn’t the perfect person (who is?!) but he was overall a good step dad to me and my brothers. I appreciated all the games of cribbage we played together and will never forget his raspy laugh. My prayers are with you Carrie and Al – I’m so sorry for your loss.

  • I baby sat his kids 45 years ago. I remember him taking me home in his little truck. And we flew over the railroad tracks. He was a great guy, RIP 🙏 my dad also worked with him.

  • It was a great pleasure to work with Larry at Snap-on even if he did call me “Larger Than Normal. A great sense of humor with a willingness to always help. Rest In Peace my friend and God bless your family and help them at this sad time.
