Kurt J. VanKammen, age 73 a life-long resident of Kenosha, died late Wednesday, March 14th, 2018 at Grande Prairie Health and Rehab.
He was born on September 26th, 1944 to the late Earl J. VanKammen and Edna C. (Bauschelt) VanKammen.
He was a graduate of St. Casimir Elementary School and St. Joseph High School. A Vietnam Veteran, he served in the United States Army from 1965-1967.
In September 1968, he married Marilyn Kuchera. On December 2nd, 1995 he married Julie J. (Petrelli) Van Kammen.
He was employed for 32 ½ years at Ladish Tri Clover.
He is survived by his Aunt Alice VanKammen, his sister in law Karen, two nephews Steve and Kevin his cousins and good friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Kenneth P. Van Kammen, his son Greg Van Kammen, and his wife Julie.
Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday April 5th, 2018 at St. George Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society or the V.F.W. would be greatly appreciated.
