Kristen Anderson (1960 – 2007)

Kristen Anderson, age 47, a resident of Racine, died Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at her residence.

She was born on January 10, 1960 in Elkhorn WI to Ralph and Marjorie (Schneider) Hughes.

She married Steve Anderson on June 19, 1987 in Elkhorn. They have three sons.

Her strong faith carried her through her long struggle with Lukemia. She was an avid Packer fan, and liked camping. She was a devoted wife and mother and was full of love and laughter.

She is survived by her husband; three sons Nicholas, Matthew, and Bradley; her parents Ralph and Marjorie Hughes of FL; sisters Karen (Mike) Jaeger of ID, and Holly (Steve) Leonard of GA; brother Steve (Barb) Hughes of NC; and many relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Melba and Lester Hughes and Lillian and William Schneider.

Kristen has requested no funeral services, but she wants her family and friends to celebrate her life. The family is planning a memorial celebration for a later date during the Packer season.

In lieu of flowers, Kristen had asked for donations to be made to ?Angels On My Shoulder? (1611 Pine Tree Lane, St. Germain, WI 54558).

A get together will be Saturday, August 18, 2007 at 6pm at Buckets Pub Banquet Room (2031 Lathrop Ave., Racine). Packer Attire is suggested.
