Kenneth J. Sniatynski, age 64 a resident of Kenosha, died Tuesday February 28, 2006 at the Clement J. Zablocki Veterans Medical Center in Milwaukee.
Born on July 2, 1941, he was the son of the late John Sniatynski and Sophie (Bistrick) Sniatynski of Kenosha.
He was educated in the schools of Kenosha and was in the first graduating class of St. Joseph Catholic High School.
As a young man he was an active athlete and played fast pitch softball.
He served in the US Air Force.
On August 17, 1962 in California, he married Anita Roan.
For 30 years, he was employed at OMC in Waukegan, and retired as a computer supervisor.
He enjoyed all sports and was an avid Packer fan. He was a CYC Little League Coach. He was a dedicated and loving grandfather and enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his wife Anita of Kenosha; his mother Sophie Sniatynski of Kenosha; two sons, John (Diane) of Kenosha, Rich(Lynne) of Colgate; seven grandchildren, John, Desire, Cooper, Mason, Joren, Parker, Olivia; one great grandchild, Hannah; and one sister Barb(Ron) Ernst of Kenosha.
His father preceded him in death.
Funeral services for Mr. Sniatynski will be held on Monday, March 6, 2006 at 1:00pm at First Presbyterian Church in Kenosha at 1803 83rd Street. Visitation will be on Monday at the church from 11:00pm until the time of services. Burial will follow at Southern WI Veterans Cemetery in Union Grove.
