Kenneth M. Williams, loving husband, father, grandfather, and devout Christian passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on June 22, 2015 at the age of 65.
Ken is the son of Keith and Audrey Williams (LaFayette). He married JoEllen (Hartung) Williams in August 1973 at First Congregational Church. Together they were blessed with 5 loving children, Joy, Dana, Marcus, Kari, and Kevin.
Ken graduated From Gateway and Parkside and worked in the computer field for many years. He loved the Green Bay Packers, sci-fi, beer brewing, trivia, cribbage, chess, coffee, and being with family.
Ken was a simple man with a gentle soul that was always willing to help others. Ken’s deep voice and calming presence could be relied on to rock babies to sleep like no other.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents Keith and Audrey and his daughter Joy. He is survived by his wife JoEllen Williams, sister Linda (Ed) Prostko, sons Marcus (Miranda) Williams and Kevin Williams, daughters Dana (Williams) Holm and Kari Williams, and 5 grandsons-Trent, Devin, Xander, Hunter, and Zackary.
Visitation to pay respects to the family will be from 1 to 2 p.m. A memorial service for Ken will be held at Holy Spirit Community Church 5900-11th Ave in Kenosha, WI on Saturday at 2 p.m. In honor of Ken’s love for the Green Bay Packers, Packer gear is highly encouraged.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
