Keith O. Kreuscher 1928-2018 passed away surrounded by his loving family on June 21, 2018, at Racine Commons Assisted Living in Racine, after suffering from Parkinson’s Disease for eight years.
He was the son of Ralph G. and Olga (Olsen) Kreuscher who preceded him in death.
Keith graduated from Kenosha Bradford High School in 1946 after which he proudly served in the U.S. Army in Italy.
After returning from the service he attended and graduated from the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater in 1952. He taught at Mazomanie HS for several years while working on a masters degree in school administration.
Keith served as the first principal of the newly opened McFarland WI HS in 1962. Based on his experience in starting up a new high school, he was offered the job as principal of starting up Kettle Moraine HS in 1965.
Keith later became principal of Oak Creek Jr HS in 1970 until his retirement in 1985.
After retirement, Keith met Doris Wines, who became his companion until she passed away in 2015. Together they traveled throughout Europe, South America and took many cruises. In addition, they spent many winters in Arizona.
Keith is survived by sister Betty Rinaldi of Pleasant Prairie, WI; and brother Roger (Valerie) Kreuscher of The Woodlands, TX. He is further survived by nephews David (Sandy) Kreuscher of Coral Springs, FL; Richard (Gabi) Kreuscher of Springfield, VA; Daniel (Denise) Kreuscher of San Francisco, CA; Ronald Rinaldi of Kenosha, WI; Frank Rinaldi of Florida; and niece Nancy (Lenny) DeKalb of Charlotte, NC.
Keith didn’t talk much about his job, but knowing him, he always strove to have kids get the best educational experience possible.
He was always generous giving his time to all friends and relatives. Keith will be deeply missed.

Funeral services will be held on Friday June 29, 2018 at 11:00AM at St. Marys Lutheran Church in Kenosha. (2001-80th Street) Visitation with the family will take place on Friday at the church from 9:30AM until the time of services. Burial will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
