Katy O. Faber, age 92, of Trevor, passed away peacefully at home with family at her side on Thursday, May 4, 2017.
Katy was born on June 12, 1924, in Kenosha to the late Louis and Teresa (Camilli) Aulozzi. She graduated from Bradford High School.
Katy met the love of her life, Sheldon Faber, on a dance floor and they were married on September 7, 1946, at Holy Name Catholic Church in Wilmot.
Katy worked for Heavy Duty Electric, Lake Geneva, before retiring in 1986. She enjoyed cooking, canning, church, traveling and playing cards, but her biggest enjoyment was spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving Katy is her husband of 70 years, Sheldon, her three sons, Butch Faber of Wheatland, Gary (Barb) Faber of Trevor and Mike (Terry) Faber of Silver Lake and her daughter Colleen (fiancée Roger Johnson) Dykstra of Silver Lake, as well as her seven grandchildren Jimmy (Michelle), Michelle, Jeff, Casey (Mindy), Tiffany (Karl), Jacob (Amber), Jessica (Chris) and her 13 great grandchildren, Ethan, Tyler, Olivia, Gavin, Calvin, Ardyn, Ashlyn, Katey, Mikayla, Hailey, Tayten, Ryker and Colton, and many loving nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Felix, Louis Jr., and John Aulozzi and two sisters Agnes Heal and Janet Hoeke.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday May 11, 2017, at 12:00 noon at St. Mark’s Catholic Church (Sheridan Road at 73rd Street). Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday at the church from 10:30 AM until the time of services. Entombment will follow at All Saints Cemetery and Mausoleum.
