Kathryn Helgeson

Kathryn Helgeson, age 88, passed away at Complete Care at Ridgewood Nursing Home in Racine, WI, on September 18^th, 2025. She was born in Iowa on March 8^th, 1937, to the late Kerner Helgeson and Florence (Severson) Helgeson. She was a registered nurse and proudly made this her life’s work before retiring in 1999.

She is survived by her children: Linda (Gary) Smith and Patrick (Angela) Weiland, grandchildren: Josh, Jake, Kelsey and Kevin, and great grandchildren: Aleigha, Harrison and Jackson. She is preceded in death by her parents, son: Daniel Ozee, and siblings: Paul Helgeson and Thomas Helgeson.

Services for Kathryn will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church (8760 37th Ave) on Saturday, October 18^th, 2025, at 12:30 P.M. A visitation will also take place at church from 12 P.M. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the church in Kathryn’s name are appreciated.
