Kathryn A. Bartel, age 57 a resident of Kenosha, died Sunday February 21 2010 at Kenosha Medical Center.
Born on December 17th 1952 in Green Bay WI, she is the daughter of the late Richard and Mary (Murray) Daniels.
She was educated in the schools of Kenosha and was a graduate of Bradford High School. She was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. She was employed for a time at Snap-On as a secretary, and also worked in retail and later was employed by Marlo Inc. in Racine.
She loved to shoot pool, bowl and play bingo. She also enjoyed watching classic movies and musicals. She was a woman who loved being a grandma and was close to her entire extended family.
She is survived by her father Jim (Lorna) Nader of Foley Alabama, her loving fiancé, James Davey Sr., two sons Joseph (Carlye) Bartel of AZ, Eric (Gina) Bartel of Racine WI, thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. She is also survived by three brothers Dennis (Toni) Nader, Steve (Corie) Daniels, Kevin (Shelby) Nader, four sisters Susan (Ken) Thorpe, Tari (Gary) Witkowiak Lori (Paul) Peterson and Donna (Chuck) Tess. She is further survived by the children of James Davey Sr. whom she was very close to. They include Douglas (Brenda) Davey, James Davey Jr. Steve (Tricia) Davey, Kelly (Mark) Nelson, and Kathy (Jerimiah) Meyer.
She was preceded in death by her biological parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday February 25th 2010 at 11:30AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. (39th Avenue and 73rd Street) A visitation will be held on Thursday at the church from 9:30AM until the time of mass. Burial will follow at St. George Catholic Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated to the James Davey Sr. family.
