Karl Thillemann, Jr. (1948 – 2006)

Karl Thillemann Jr., age 57, resident of Racine, died Thursday, September 7, 2006 at Clement J. Zablocki Veteran?s Hospital in Milwaukee.

He was born on October 24, 1948 to Karl and Gloria Thillemann, Jr.

His favorite spot to go fishing was on the lakefront in Racine. He also enjoyed hunting and playing cards with family and friends.

He leaves behind his best friend and companion Sandra Thillemann; sons Robert (Carla) Thillemann, and Brian (Lauren) Thillemann; daughter Laurie (Dan) Wolff; nine grandchildren; brothers Keith (Lisa) Mertins, Bob (Judy) Bufton, Rick (Gloria) Thillemann, Dave (Debbie) Mertins, and Gary Spaay; and sister Sharon (Don) Reske.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Mike Mertins, and stepfather Arden Jeffers.

Services will be held Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at 11:00am at the Southern Wisconsin Veteran?s Cemetery Chapel in Union Grove.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
