Julie D. Safe, age 51, passed away at her mother’s home on May 18th , 2024, after 6
years of battling cancer. She was born to Cindy Escue and the late James Escue on
November 24th, 1971, in Kenosha, WI. She attended Tremper High School in Kenosha
and graduated from Gateway Technical College in 1996. Julie worked various jobs from
photography, modeling and waitressing in her young adult life. She then graduated from
The Salon Professional Academy in 2011 and worked as a cosmetologist the rest of her
career.
Julie enjoyed reading, music, dancing, fashion and the outdoors. She spent a lot of her
spare time indulging in anything fantasy or Sci-Fi related. Out of all, she cherished
spending time with her children and grandchildren the most. Julie was the best trivia
partner, a friend to many and could make anyone laugh. She will be greatly missed.
Julie is Survived by her mother Cindy, children: Justin, Tristian, Kaiya Bodhi,
grandchildren: Armin, Willow, Raven, Orrick, Cloud, her brother Tommy sister Jodi as
well as many other living relatives.
Julie’s family would like to thank the Aurora at Home Hospice Program for their
compassionate care and support.
A memorial service will be held at Wesley United Methodist Church (4600 60th
St, Kenosha, WI) on Friday May 31st , 2024 at 11 AM. Visitation with the family we be on
Friday at the church from 10am until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
