Joyce J. Heinze, age 70, a resident of Kenosha died Saturday, June 16, 2007 at Aurora Medical Center.
Born on August 19, 1936 in Kenosha, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Clara (Misurelli) Vignieri.
She was educated in the schools of Kenosha and graduated from Gateway Technical College with a nursing degree.
She had been employed as a LPN at Kenosha Memorial Hospital and at St. Catherine?s Hospital.
On June 27, 1959 in Kenosha she married Dr. Thomas P. Heinze.
She was formerly a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Kenosha. After St. Thomas was closed she was a member of St. Mary?s Catholic Church.
She loved family gatherings, and was well known for her cooking and baking.
She is survived by her husband; Dr. Thomas P. Heinze of Kenosha; one son Thomas P. Heinze Jr. of Kenosha; one daughter Lisa M. Heinze of Kenosha; four brothers; Charles (Lorraine) Vignieri of Kenosha; Frank (Katherine) Vignieri of Kenosha; Michael (Michelle) Vignieri of CA; and Anthony (Elizabeth) Vignieri of CA; three sisters, Mary Sevcik of Kenosha; Rosemary (Stephen) Weingrad of New York, and Judith (Toby) Martir of NJ.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday June 21, 2007 at 11:00AM at St. Mary?s Catholic Church in Kenosha. Visitation will be on Thursday at the church from 9:30 AM until the time of mass. Burial will follow at Southern Wisconsin Veteran?s Cemetery in Union Grove.
