Joyce A. Herrick, age 77, of Kenosha, died Saturday September 3rd 2016 at the Hospice Alliance House in Pleasant Prairie.
Joyce was born April 13, 1939 in Kenosha to Edward and Eunice (Charter) Niehaus. On November 28th, 1959, she was united in marriage with James M. Herrick at St. Thomas Catholic Church.
She was a waitress at Casa Capri for many years, and also worked in the Kenosha Unified School system. She enjoyed dancing at the Moose Club, going for long walks and wintering with her best friend and husband Jim. She also liked picnicking and gardening. She loved watching her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events. She was also an avid Packers Fan. Most of all she loved her Lord and Savior Jesus.
Joyce will be deeply missed by her sons James (Celene) Herrick, Todd Herrick and Paul Herrick. In addition, she is survived by her grandchildren James (Lanah) Herrick, Vanessa (Andy Haapanen) Herrick, Amanda (Thomas) Dohmen Jr., Ryan Gustavus-Herrick and Aaron Herrick and by her great grandchildren Peyton, Addison, Harper and Amy. She is further survived by her sister Audrey (Al) Baumbach of Texas.
Preceding Joyce in death were her parents, her husband, her brother Art and her son Michael.
As per Joyce’s wishes, services will be private.
