Jordan E. Rhey, age 70, formerly of Kenosha, late of Mt. Pleasant, passed away on Tuesday July 19, 2016 at his home, surrounded by his wife and two children.
Jordan was born in Kenosha on December 16th, 1945 to the late Claude V. and Constance Larraine (Layton) Rhey. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha and served in the U.S. Navy. On March 12th, 1966, he married his childhood sweetheart, Rozann Salerno. Jordan worked as a hammer man in the drop forge at Snap-On Tools for 32 years before his retirement in 1999.
A true outdoorsman, he hunted in Northern Wisconsin and fished the Turtle Flambeau Flowage for many years. He was an exceptional fisherman and had the respect and admiration of many anglers. Jordan and Rozann relocated up north in Butternut, Wisconsin where they owned and operated Donner’s Bay Resort for seven years before becoming homesick for their family. They moved back to the area in 2014 and bought their dream home in Mt. Pleasant.

He was an avid Sprint car, NASCAR, and Chicago Bears fan.
Surviving Jordan is his loving wife Rozann of Mt. Pleasant, his brother, Gary (Donna) Rhey of Kenosha, his two children Charles (Ann) Rhey of Pleasant Prairie, Kristine (Richard) Coshun, of Kenosha, and his wonderful grandchildren Tyler Jordan Rhey, Emma Katherine Rhey, Jordan Robert Coshun and Collin Charles Coshun. Jordan’s father in law and fishing buddy, William J. Jones and many loving nieces and nephews and dear friends also survive Jordan.
Preceding him in death are his parents, his brother Daniel Rhey, sister Claudia (Rhey) Richter, niece Michelle Richter, granddaughter Laura Justine, and his beloved yellow lab, Buck.
