John Edward Shebeneck, age 69, resident of Kenosha, died Monday August 28, 2006 at All Saints-St. Mary?s Hospital in Racine.
He was born on March 2, 1937, in Racine and was the son of the late John and Helen Shebeneck.
A long time resident of Racine, he was educated in the schools of Racine. In July 1959 he married Joanne Driver at Grace Chapel in Racine.
He was employed by Western Publishing where he worked as a book binder, then later retired. He also worked at “The Magic Kiln? in Sturtevant, which his wife owned and operated.
He is survived by his wife Joanne of Kenosha; two step-daughters, Beverly McKinney and Nancy (Jerry) Bliss; three step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; a brother Robert (Eileen) Shebeneck; and two sisters Aileen (Carl) Madsen and Dianne Kaplan. He is also survived by dear friends Joe and Shelly, and many other family members, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother James Shebeneck.
Services will be private.
