John Marinelli (1960 – 2003)

John L. Marinelli, 42, a resident of Kenosha, died on August 2, 2003 and was born on December 8, 1960. His parents are the late John I. Marinelli and Delores R. (Crosetto) Marinelli of Kenosha.

He was educated at St Mark’s Catholic school, graduating from St. Joseph’s High School in 1979. He honorably served his country in the US Army from August 1979 to 1982. Continuing his education, he obtained an Associate degree at Gateway Technical College in Computer Programming in 1988.

In July of 1988, he married Lori Hoppenjan, they divorced in 1995.

He was employed as a Systems Analyst at Modine Manufacturing in Racine. He enjoyed bowling and golf. His mother and his children Joshua J. and Stephanie D. Marinelli ? both of Kenosha, and many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends, also survive him. His father preceded him in death on December 19, 1963. John is also survived by his aunt and uncle Shirley and Frank Miletta and cousins Michelle, Renee, and Larry.

A Funeral Mass for John L. Marinelli will be held on Tuesday August 5, 2003 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 6:00pm. Visitation will be at church from 4:00pm until the time of the service. Private interment will take place at South Eastern Wisconsin Veteran’s Cemetery on Wednesday.
