Jeffery A. Simas, age 47, entered into our Lord’s loving arms on Monday May 11th 2015.
Jeff was born September 9, 1967 in Kenosha to Joe and Beverly (Hinkfuss) Simas. He attended Bethany Lutheran School, Somers School, Bullen Junior High and Reuther High School.
In his early years, Jeff worked various jobs, chef at Casa Capri, forklift driver and CNC machine operator. He lived for a while in Florida. When he returned, he worked with his brother Kevin at Kevin’s Pool and Tree Service and started his own power washing business. He became an over the road trucker more recently. The coast to coast travel made Jeff happy and he was known to say “I’ve got it _____ made in the shade!” Jeff also worked with his longtime friend Chuck at C&M Tires.
Jeff enjoyed NASCAR and was a great fan of the Green Bay Packers (as long as there was no NASCAR that day). Jeff loved to spend time with his family, especially his great nephew “Joey”. They loved to jet-ski, watch the boats, and go to fireworks and parades. Jeff’s favorite activity was taking “Joey” for a ride in his Camaro, showing off his nephew and his pride and joy at the same time.
Jeff is survived by his parents and his sister Debra (Robert) Slusher, and his uncle Ernest Simas. He is also survived by his nieces Miranda Lynn Simas and Krystle Lynn Simas as well as their children Robert “Joey” Simas, Aavyron Marie Simas and Kylie Simas as well as many other relatives and friends and by his cousin Edward Bass.
Jeff was preceded in death by his grand parents, and by his sister Rhonda Kay Simas on January 2, 2010 and his brother Kevin Joseph Simas on May 22, 2010.
A memorial service for Jeff will be held on Saturday August 8th 2015 at 2:30 PM atBethanyLutheranChurch in Somers (1520-Green Bay Rd.) A time for visiting with the family will be held from 1:00PM until the time of services.
