Jean Keliipio, a resident of Sturtevant, died Monday July 5, 2010 at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare in Racine.
Jean was born in Rushford MN on May 6, 1932 to Clarence and Mary (Dahle) Hatlevig. She was educated in the schools of St. Charles MN. In 1953 she moved to Milwaukee. She was a member of and active at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Jean was also active with the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. On January 29, 1955 Jean married Isaac Keliipio in Winona MN. She was employed as a beautician for many years for Gimbels in downtown Milwaukee.
Jean is survived by her husband Isaac, two sons Isaac Keliipio of Kenosha and Robert Keliipio of Sturtevant; three daughters Nancy (Russ) Doers of Burlington, Marie Keliipio of West Milwaukee and Dawn (Robert) Schubring of New Berlin. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Jean is further survived by one sister Evelyn (Eugene) O’Brien of Winona MN.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Clifford and Melvin and two sisters Esther and Ruth.
Funeral services will be held on Monday July 12, 2010 at St. Mark’s Catholic Church (7117 14th Avenue Kenosha) at 11:00 AM. Visitation with the family will be held on Monday at the church from 10:00 AM until the time of services.
