Jean Ellen Gregory, age 71, a lifelong resident of Kenosha, passed away on October 23rd, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born on July 20th, 1953, to John Gregory and Carol (Thomas) Gregory, Jean devoted her life to her family. She took great pride in her role as a homemaker, creating a warm and caring environment for her children and grandchildren. One of her greatest joys came from being a grandmother, she loved spending time with her granddaughter every chance she had.
Jean loved her arts and crafts and was known to share her creations with those she loved. She also had a special love for Elvis Presley, and it’s said that she brought her infectious joy to all in heaven by dancing with him to her favorite Elvis tunes and “Duke of Earl” by Gene Chandler – her favorite song of all time.
Jean is survived by her father John Gregory, daughters: Stephanie Gregory and Brigitte Gregory, a granddaughter: Aubrey Visintainer, siblings: Pam (Dan) Balk, Willy Gregory, Debra Hain, Karen (Tom) Ritacca, and John Gregory, a stepmother: Jody Gregory, and many nieces & nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother: Carol (Thomas) Gregory, and her sister: Jackie Miller.
Jean Gregory’s love for her family, her creative spirit, and her joyful heart will forever be cherished by all who knew her.
A special thanks goes to all the family members who reached out and supported Jean and her daughters with her care over the years.
