Jason Christensen

Jason P. Christensen, 47 years old, of Chicago, IL, passed away at his home on Wednesday June 12^th, 2024.

He was born on June 20^th, 1976, in Kenosha, WI, the son of Tom and Jan Christensen. He attended Tremper High School and graduated from Whitewater University with a degree in business administration majoring in English. He later attended Roosevelt University in Chicago and graduated with a degree in computer science.

He was employed as a computer programmer with CiberSQL

He was an avid reader and enjoyed listening to music. He had a quick wit, a curiosity about the universe, and a love of language. Jason was also a huge Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers fan.

Jason’s passing comes as a shock to family and friends and loved ones. He was taken far too soon.

Survivors include his father Tom and brother Jon (Kathy) Christensen of Kenosha, WI, nephews Jacob (Leah Becker) Christensen and Tyler (Katie Neu) Christensen. Jason is survived by aunts Cheryl Parsons, Jan (Paul) Clausen, Sherry (John) Schonert and Marsha (Willie) Jerke; and several other cousins. 

He is also survived by a good friend Karen Tosh Smolinski.

Jason was preceded in death by his mother Jan.

A private dinner with family and friends will be held to celebrate Jason’s life. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Shalom Center, 4314 39 th Avenue Kenosha, WI 53144
