Janet L. Pacetti, age 81, a resident of Kenosha died Monday October 15th, 2018 at Manor Care in Kenosha.
Born on January 2nd, 1937 in Iron Mountain MI, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Edna (Swanson) Halvorsen.
She came to Kenosha as a young girl and was educated in the schools of Kenosha. She graduated from Bradford High School in 1954.
On August 8th, 1967 she married Arthur Pacetti at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Kenosha.
She worked at Coopers/Jockey from the mid 1950’s until 1968. She also worked at the Leader Store from the early 1980’s until their closing. She did accounts payables and bookkeeping. She retired in 1996.
She enjoyed antiquing, shopping and going out to eat at different restaurants. She also enjoyed planting flowers, home decorating and taking trips with her family to her hometown of Iron Mountain. She loved watching the Badgers football and basketball and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.
She is survived by her husband Arthur of Kenosha, one son Daniel (Andrea) Pacetti of Eugene OR, two daughters Joan (Cory Vanderwall) Pacetti of Kenosha, and Kara (Paul Zervopoulos) Pacetti of Sturtevant, and one granddaughter Tori (Jon Loffredo) Matayosian of Sturtevant.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Delbert Halvorsen, and two sisters Laverne Langerman and Betty Knautz.
Funeral services will be on Saturday October 20th, 2018 at 11:30AM at the Kemper Center Founders Hall (6501-3rd Avenue). Visitation with the family will be on Saturday in Founders Hall from 10:00AM until the time of services. Burial will follow at Sunset Ridge Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to either Hospice Alliance, Inc. or the Salvation Army would be appreciated.
