James R. Roach, age 42 a resident of Kenosha, died Wednesday July 19, 2006.
Born on December 9, 1963 in Milwaukee, he is the son of the late Richard W. Roach and Joyce A. (Meyer) Roach of Pleasant Prairie. He was educated in the schools of Kenosha and attended Tremper High School.
On June 29, 1991 he married Angel D. Zilonis at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bristol.
For many years he was employed as a maintenance technician.
He was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bristol. He loved watching car races, and especially enjoyed NASCAR and Indy Car racing. He also was a past member of the Kenosha Comets Hockey Team. He loved animals, especially his dog Cha-Cha.
He is survived by his daughter Crystal Zilonis of Kenosha; his mother Joyce A. Roach of Pleasant Prairie; one brother David W. (Laurie) Roach, and their son Carlton Roach, all of Rogersville Alabama; one sister Judy (Jim) Carr and their son James Carr and their daughter Alexis Carr, all of Lafayette Ind.
He was preceded in death by his father and his wife.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 22, 2006 at 11:00AM at Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Bristol. (7931-Bristol Rd.; or south of HWY 50 on HWY 45) Visitation will be on Saturday July 22, 2006 at the church from 10:00AM until the time of services. Burial will take place at Bristol-Paris Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
