James “Jim” E. Anderson, age 77, a resident of Racine died Wednesday October 28, 2015 at Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie.
Jim was born on July 24, 1938 in Racine. On November 24, 1956 he married Karen Nielsen in Racine. He was employed at J.I. Case. Jim enjoyed family, farming and motorcycle trips across country with his wife and daughters. He also enjoyed hunting at Bear Bluff with his sons. Jim also enjoyed whitewater rafting as well as long walks with his dogs. He loved to dance with the now defunct K-Town Kickers and most Friday nights in Racine.
Jim is survived by his wife Karen, sons (his best friends and hunting buddies) Steve Anderson and Tim Anderson and his daughters Lori (JP Parkinson) Anderson, Lynn (Russ) Baumann, and Lee Ann (Willy) Goold. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren. Jim is further survived by his sisters Judy (Bill) Halberstadt and Rosemary “Tyke” (Dan) O’Brien.
Jim was preceded in death by his brother David Anderson, daughter-in-law Kristen Anderson, brother-in-law Dick Nielsen and brother Rich Anderson.
The family would like to thank Hospice Alliance, the staff and especially the volunteers.
