James A. Jenison, age 64, a resident of Kenosha died Sunday June 22nd 2014 at his residence.
James was born on August 4, 1949 in YpsilantiMichigan to James and Evelyn (Brown) Jenison. James served his country as an Airman in the United States Navy. He made his living in manufacturing and in his spare time he enjoyed gardening and the outdoors. He liked to watch golf on TV and he was an avid Detroit Lions fan.
James is survived by his daughters Michelle (Gerald) Hayward of Bradenton Florida and Crista Jenison of Kenosha, as well as four grandchildren; Alicia (Orlando) Marquez, Jesse Reyes Jr., Andre Reyes and Jreven Lewis and six great grandchildren. He is further survived by his brother Terry (Margaret) Jenison of Trevor and his sister Lori (Mark) Crawford of Milwaukee. He is also survived by his K9 companion Baby Reyes.
James was preceded in death by his parents, by a brother Rod Jenison and by his daughter Cindy Jenison.
James’s family would like to thank the staff at St. Joseph Home and the staff of Hospice. They would also like to thank Terri and Danny Miranda for the loving care given to James and to their family and friends who have been so kind and helpful during this difficult time.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday June 28th 2014 at 11:00AM at the KemperCenter’s Founders Hall (6501-3rd ave.) Visitation with the family will be in Founders Hall from 9:30AM until the time of services. Burial will take place on July 2, 2014, 12:00 PM at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
