Jack K. Thiele, 88, of Kenosha passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Froedtert South-Kenosha Medical Center.
Jack was born in Kenosha on January 23, 1930 to the late John and Nell (Bemis) Thiele. He graduated from St. Catherines’s High School. On June 11, 1949 Jack married Jeanette Keene at St. George Church. He retired from AMC after 38 years of service. He was a member of UAW Local 72. He was an usher at St. Mark’s for many years. Jack was an avid Packer fan. He also enjoyed spending time up north, fishing, woodworking, and collecting cars and coins.
Jack is survived by his sons, John (Girtha) of Kenosha, Jeffrey (Sharon) of Pleasant Prairie, James (Chris) of Salem and Jason (Becky) of Kenosha; daughters, Kathleen (Fred) Hanson of Salem and Karen (Ray) Kindle of Pearson. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, sister Bette Fratrick, wife Jeanette (Jean), and great grandson Brady.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Jack will be celebrated on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mark’s Catholic Church (7117-14th Avenue) with burial to follow at St. James Cemetery. A visitation with the family will take place on Saturday at the church from 9:30 A.M. until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Mark’s Catholic Church would be greatly appreciated.
