Helen J. Jorgensen, age 93, of Kenosha, died on Monday April 17, 2017 at Brookside Care Center.
Helen was born in Marinette Wisconsin on November 7, 1923 to the late Lewis and Cora (Dousey) Landerman. On March 27, 1943, she was united in marriage with Christian “Fred” Jorgensen in Menominee, Wisconsin. He preceded her in death in 1980. Helen worked at AMC for 30 years until her retirement in 1982. She was a former member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Helen loved to go on day trips with a group, bingo and the casinos were her favorite destinations. She adored her pet cat and her favorite times were those she spent with her beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren, spoiling them with their favorite things.
Surviving Helen is her son William Jorgensen of Kenosha as well as her daughters Mary Lou Mullikin of Kenosha and Barbara (Robert) Lees of Twin Lakes. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Lisa Troup, Crystal (Eric) Mertins and Nicholas (Sarah Petersen) Lees and her great grandchildren, Tiara (Quamay Daniels) Vlcek, Brandon (Brittany Schultz) Mullikin, Jeremy Troup, Michael Troup, Kenneth Mullikin, David Mullikin, Grace Mertins, Veronica Mertins and Cheyenne Lees, as well as her great great grandchildren, Ryan, Donavan, Ilana, Paisley and Kinsley. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, seven brothers, five sisters, a son-in-law Ken Mullikin and two grandsons, Steven Mullikin and Kevin Mullikin.
A Service of Christian Burial will take place on Friday April 21, 2017 at All Saints Cemetery Chapel (3300 Springbrook Road) starting at 12:00 noon. A visitation with the family will be held on Friday in the chapel at All Saints from 11:00AM until the time of services. Burial will follow.
