Gina Lynn Zirbel (Pierce) passed away unexpectedly on November 22nd, 2025. She was 42 years old and a lifetime resident of Kenosha.
Gina was born to loving parents Barbara and Kevin Pierce, educated in Kenosha Schools, and was a 2002 graduate of Reuther High School. After high school, she married Michael Zirbel. Although the two would later divorce, they were blessed with two wonderful children, Brianna and Blaze. Gina later had two other beautiful daughters, Tayler and Nola, with her partner, Tyler Schroeder. Gina was a devoted mother and her primary focus throughout her life was caring for her children.
In her spare time, Gina loved tending to her garden. She grew all kinds of things, from vegetables to flowers and other decorative plants. She was also widely known as a wonderful cook. She provided food for family gatherings, Packer Games, and other family events. She never complained about this responsibility, however, instead volunteering to cook for everyone.
Gina is survived by her children Brianna, Blaze, Tayler, and Nola; her mother Barbara Pierce; older brother Richard Pierce; older sister Lisa (Claudio) Chon; and many nieces, nephews, and even 1 great-nephew, all of whom she loved very much.
Gina was preceded in death by her father, Kevin Pierce in 2022.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 5pm on December 5th, 2025, at the Unity Lodge #367 (4320 Washington Road, Kenosha).
