From your not so ordinary wife to my not so ordinary husband:

We loved, laughed and argued.  When you took your last breath, you took a part of me with you that will never be filled again. I can only hope that all your family members who preceded you in death are there to welcome you so you are not alone.

You left behind your brother John (Marsha) Kressel, sister Cheryl (Dave) Kappers and numerous other family members and friends.

Your love for golf sometimes outshined your skill, but every good golfer deserved at least one mulligan. You played jazz drums with so much joy you couldn’t wipe the smile off your face.  Your passion for painting was who you were.  Your soul seemed to pour out onto an empty canvas for all to see and reflect upon.

I feel so honored and blessed to have loved and been loved by you over these past 17 years.

We will be celebrating you on Saturday December 5th  at Re: Vision Gallery from 6pm to 9pm

  • Jerry & Rosemary Slagoski says:

May this sorrowful time allow you to reflect upon all the joy that you once shared with your departed loved one.

  • Teresa m halderman says:

I knew Jerry in the early 70’s we met in Boston and carried our brief time together in Chicago where we shared a basement apartment where he did pen and ink sketching s and worked in a waterbed store doing frames. He showed me kenosha and how we laughed when every other car was a rambler. We traveled to New Orleans for Mardi Gras and the Keys to visit my friends and thats where I went when I left him. I looked some for him in the years before his death but not until the obituary was posted did I know his fate. We laughed alot and He is golden in my memories. I just wanted to put this down to honor him with no motive or intention but share my joy in having had him for a brief time in my life.
