George Ferguson (1939 – 2010)

George Ferguson, age 71, a resident of Racine, died Sunday May 9, 2010 at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare in Racine.

George was born on April 13, 1939 in Iron River WI to Harold and Frances (Dawson) Ferguson.

George enlisted in the U.S. Marines in 1957 and served for six years. In 1994

George married Brenda Grabot in Las Vegas NV. He was employed as an over the road truck driver for many years and retired from Kutzler Trucking in 2004.

George is survived by his mother Frances of CA; two daughters Dana and Debbie; three step-sons Chris Grabot of Kenosha WI, Terry (Jennifer) Grabot of Pleasant Prairie WI and Rick (Laura) Grabot of Bristol WI; nine grandchildren Anthony, Savanna, Trey, Nikki, Jared, Gwen, Sarah, Beau and Brendan. He is also survived by three brothers Donald (Sarah) Ferguson, Arthur (Charlene) Ferguson and Charles Ferguson; and three sisters Joyce (Brice) Woodbury, Lois (Donald) Bunkert and Marie (Gary) Wilson.

George was preceded in death by his wife Brenda in 2007, and his father Harold. George was loved and will be missed by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services will be held on Monday May 17, 2010 at 11:00AM at Pine River Cemetery in Leon WI.
