Gary Jaster (1936 – 2011)

Gary M. Jaster, age 74 a resident of Kenosha, passed away Tuesday February 1, 2011 at home.

Gary was born in Kenosha on December 30, 1936 to Raymond and Sylvia ((Hill) Jaster. On April 7, 1966 he married Catherine A. Gerardo.Gary had a great sense of humor and was very outgoing. Gardening and cooking were his passions.

Gary is survived by his soul mate of 45 years Cathy, four sons Ray (Terri) Jaster of Pound WI, Gary Jaster Jr of TN, John O’Dell of Stone Mountain GA and Kelly O’Dell of Racine WI and two daughters Mary Boring of Dover DE, and Rosie (Geoff) Gates of Lansing KS. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Gary is further survived by two brothers Kevin Jaster of Racine and Gene Jaster of Hurley WI, many brothers and sisters in-laws and several nieces and nephews.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, and son Jerry Allen Jaster.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday February 12, 2011 at Holy Rosary Church (4400 22nd Avenue) at 10:00AM. In lieu of flowers memorials to the family would be appreciated.
