Frederick J. Garnero, age 73, of Kenosha passed away on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Froedtert South KMCC following a brief illness with his family by his side. Fred was born on May 22, 1945 in Kenosha to Joseph and Helen (Pawlowski) Garnero. He graduated from Mary D. Bradford High School in 1963. Fred married Rita Cucunato on December 20, 1969 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church and the couple were together for almost 50 years until her death on May 14, 2018. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves, was at Snap-On Tools for over 30 years and worked part-time for the City of Kenosha Parks Department. Fred enjoyed many activities including golf, watching the Cubs, a faithful Jeopardy fan and he will especially be remembered for taking rides all over town on his vespa. Fred’s greatest joy was the time he spent with his family.

Fred is survived by, his son, Joseph (Jocelyn) Garnero of Kenosha; two daughters, Nicole (Keith) Ebner and Lisa Garnero both of Kenosha; five grandchildren, Jack, Mia, Nathan, Evelyn and Isabella; his brother, James Garnero; a brother-in-law, Frank (Lucille) Cucunato as well as other family and friends.
In accordance with Fred’s wishes private services were held.
