Frank Lewis Juzwik Jr. a resident of Kenosha formerly from Antioch, IL passed away on November 25th 2020 surrounded by his loved ones. Frank was the son of Frank Sr. and Dolores Juzwik born on April 18th 1952 in Pennsylvania. He had four daughters Suzanne, Pamela, Amy, and Crystal from a previous marriage.
He and his wife Donna Ruffalo Juzwik had 23 wonderful years together. They were members of St. Mark’s Parish and married there on July 7th 2012. When he married Donna, the family increased by 3, Alex, Andy, & Carrie.
Frank graduated from Glenbrook South High School in Glenview Illinois in 1970. He then graduated from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL.
Frank worked at IBM for 19 years. After retirement he turned his passion for fishing into an online businesses, Lake Michigan Angler and Salmon Angler, which grew into a successful retail and online businesses. The growth brought in his friend Rob Wendel to help run the businesses.
Fishing was his passion. He loved fishing on Lake Michigan, taking trips to Canada and Alaska and tying his own flies. He participated in many fishing contests and shows and was a member of Salmon Unlimited for 20 years.
He and Donna loved to travel and hike in National Parks. They went to Italy, England, and Hawaii. He enjoyed visiting wineries and taking pictures.
Frank and Donna enjoyed cooking together. He was famous for his cheesecakes, salmon dip, ribs, pulled pork, and creative fish dishes, which he generously shared. He liked using his smoker. He was a creative cook and could create anything. He enjoyed sharing that knowledge. He was an avid gardener and shared what he grew in his garden.
He is survived by his loving wife Donna Ruffalo Juzwik and all seven of their children. Suzanne Juzwik, Pamela, Amy Juzwik, Crystal (Josh) Skowron, Alex Ruffalo, Andy ( Leslie) Ruffalo & Carrie ( Mike ) Borst and 12 grandchildren. Sophie, Kai, Brynja, Colin, Oliver, Cole, Keegan, Angelina, Luca, Nico, Tyler and Celia. He is further survived by his brother Kenneth Juzwik and his sister Janice (Jim) Fromm, his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Sharon and Russ Gename, former wife Lynn Pedersen, many nieces, nephews, cousins, fishing buddies and friends. He loved spoiling everyone. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A private funeral service was held for family with a celebration of life to be held when we can all gather safely.
A special thank you to all of his nurses and doctors especially, Beth, Diana, Christina and Dr. Bloom for the excellent, compassionate care given to him at Froedtert South in Kenosha.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
