Floyd M. McIntosh, age 81 a resident of Bristol, died Monday, December 18, 2006 at United Hospital Systems Kenosha Medical Center Campus.
Born on August 8, 1925 in Irving Kentucky, he was the son of the late James M. and Armilda (Sons) McIntosh.
On May 4, 1948 in Charleston Indiana, he married Rose Marks.
They would move to the WI area in 1968.
For many years he worked for the Milwaukee Railroad retiring in 1986.
He was considered a hard worker and particularly enjoyed working in his garden. He made friends with everyone, and never met a stranger he didn?t like.
He is survived by his wife Rose of Bristol; one son Floyd ? Bud? McIntosh of Salem; two daughters, Violet (Robert) McGrath of Bristol, Paula (Terry) Aiken of Gresham Oregon; six grandchildren, Tracy, Rob, Melonie, Monroe, Eric, Colton, three great grandchildren, Jake, Jonah, Jocee; five brothers; Jay (Hallie) McIntosh of Indiana, Sydney (Evelyn) McIntosh of Indiana, Finley (Ruth) McIntosh of Kentucky, Jimmy (Barb) McIntosh of Indiana, David (Bernie) McIntosh of Hawaii, four sisters; Loraine Quire of Indiana, Nettie of Indiana, Margie Burkhead of Indiana, and Ida (George) Nye of Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother William, and one sister Molly.
Funeral services will be held on Friday December 22, 2006 at 11:00AM at First Presbyterian Church in Kenosha. (1803-83rd Street) Visitation will be on Friday at the church from 10:00AM until the time of services. Burial will follow at Liberty Cemetery.
