Emery Herbert Christensen

Emery Herbert Christensen, age 72, of Kenosha, passed away at Manor Care of Kenosha on April 4th, 2025 with his beloved niece Annalisa Marie Geschke Papadopoulos by his side. He was born on December 8th, 1952, to the late Emery Christensen and Lillian (Hobbs) Christensen. He grew up on his family’s farm in Union Grove until he was a teenager. He attended Union Grove High School and later at Horlick High School and graduated as an honor student. He later went on to work at Shakey’s Pizza in Racine at a number of capacities. He loved all kinds of music, but especially Elvis. Even in his final days, he was still singing one of his favorite songs, “Love Me Tender”. He loved playing guitar and sharing his passions for music with his family and friends.

He loved spending time with his family and loved going out with his niece Annalisa. He really enjoyed his soda, snacks, and milkshakes.

He was a kind, caring, and generous soul, sharing anything he had with others. He was also known for his amazing sense of humor.
He is preceded in death by his sister Lola Geschke and brother in law Marvin Geschke.

The family would like to thank Hospice Alliance, Manor Care of Kenosha, and all the kind friends and relatives who reached out during this very difficult time.

Inurnment will take place at West Lawn Memorial Park in Racine at a later date.

    Thank you for all who known my Uncle. My Uncle was a beautiful person. He loved his family and he would asked about them every time I visited him. I will miss him everyday. RIP Uncle. Love you forever. Ann Marie he would call me.
