Elizabeth Costello

Elizabeth “Liz” Costello, age 61, of Kenosha, passed away on Saturday, April 4th 2020.  She was born on October 28th, 1958 in Illinois, to Delores Baty and Gilbert Galvan.

Liz was educated in schools in Illinois and Wisconsin.  She was a bartender for many years.  She married the love her life, Rob, on Sept 4th 2000.

Liz loved to cook and bake.  She especially loved teaching her granddaughter Vanna to bake. She loved movies. One of her favorite past times was to watch Harry Potter movies with her grandson Austin.  She enjoyed canning, quilting, and was a Master Gardener.  Liz loved holidays, especially Christmas.  She was known to start searching for that perfect gift in January.   The pride and joy of her life was her family.  Her husband, children, and grandchildren were everything to her.     

Surviving Liz are her devoted husband Robert Costello and her beloved children: Marisa (Shane) Ryan, Christian (Elizabeth) Martin, and Chance Poling. She is further survived by her cherished grandchildren Austin Ryan and Vanna Lidstrom.  Liz is also survived by her siblings: Nieves Galvan, Gilbert Galvan, Jessica Fair, Robin Tarpley, David Harrison, Donald Zoll and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth Poling.

A celebration of Elizabeth’s life will be held at a later date.
