Edward L. Dahms Sr, age 63, a resident of Kenosha, died Tuesday November 1, 2005 at Kenosha Hospital and Medical Center.
Born on May 24, 1942 in Waukegan, IL he was the son of the late Harry and Alice (Roper) Dahms.
He was educated in the schools of IL and was a graduate of North Chicago High School
in 1960.
Ed worked numerous jobs throughout the years, including many years at International Harvester and most recently at Metalex in Libertyville, IL. He also owned his own maintenance business. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose and also a member of the Bonnie Brook Fire Department for 18 years.
Left to cherish his loving memory are his loving wife Linda (LaBine) Dahms of Kenosha; sons, Edward Jr. (Alanna)of NC., Michael (Stacey) Dahms of Zion IL; Michael (Melissa) Bramer of Green Bay, Mark Bramer of Green Bay; and daughter Myra (Craig) Stittgen of Winthrop Harbor IL. These wonderful children also blessed him with 13 loving grandchildren. He is further survived by four brothers and a sister. Ed is also survived by a special family friend, Marge Edwards.
Funeral services for Ed will be held on Friday November 4, 2005 at 6:00PM at St. Therese Catholic Church in Kenosha. (2020-91st Street) Visitation will be from 4:00PM until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the family.
Private burial will take place at Northshore Garden of Memories in North Chicago, IL.
