Douglas G. Baker, age 67, a resident of Kenosha, died Friday, April 20, 2007 at his residence from Lung Cancer.
Born on November 7, 1939 in Stambaugh MI, he was the son of the late Dallas and Gertrude (Menghini) Baker.
On August 17, 1985, he married Deborah Baumeister.
He had been employed at AMC. He was self-employed as an appliance repair and retail business. He worked part time with his good friends Corbett and Linda Brown, who own Corbett?s Appliance.
He was a volunteer at the Shalom Center, and worked with the Holiday House program. He helped at the Spanish Center. He was very generous and would often help others in need with donations of appliances. He enjoyed Bingo and especially spending time with his ?Bingo Buddies?.
He is survived by his wife Deborah of Kenosha; children Steven (Ti) Baker, Sally Dickson, Judy Dickerson, all of CO, Deb Lennon, Kari (Duane) O?Keefe, Michael (Jennifer) Baker, Jennifer Wienke, Robert Wienke, Timothy Wienke, Joshua Baker, Nicholas Baker all of Kenosha, and Sue (John) Gomez of Racine, and Michelle Baker of CA.; sisters Shirley Salica, Pat (Roy) Jenkins, Kay (Tony) Piantek, Judy (Dale) Schmidt, and Christine Baker, all of Kenosha, and Lillian Winton of Oshkosh; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews whom all loved him very much; and his ex-wives Kathy Cyrulik, and Carol Bruenning.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sons Douglas and George, brother Dallas ?Pete?, sisters Betty Cole, Carol Jean, and Dee Tomaszewski.
Services will be private.

My father Raymond Baker, the son of Clifford Baker originally of Stambaugh, Mi We went to a family reunion around 1971 ! I stayed at Dallas Bakers house in Kenosha, Wi. i was 11 years ols at the time. Sorry to hear of Douglas’s passing ! i have been looking for my distant cousins !
