Dorothy Morgan (1933-2018)

Dorothy M. Morgan, age 85, of Burlington formerly of Kenosha passed away on Friday, June 8, 2018 at her home with her loving family by her side. Dorothy was born on March 20, 1933 in Stirrat, WV to James and Retha (Beaver) Hileman. She married Melvin F. Morgan on April 20, 1957 at Pleasant Prairie United Methodist Church and he preceded her in death on December 18, 1977. Dorothy worked in the lunchroom at Indian Trail High School and the Brat Stop until her retirement in 2012. She enjoyed her family especially doting on her grandkids and great grandkids.

She was also preceded in death by, her parents; her son, James Morgan; a daughter-in-law, Vicky Morgan; four brothers, Edward and Denny in infancy and Archie and Robert Hileman; two sisters, Ruby Freitag and Ann Raash and her sister-in-law, Elaine Hileman.

Dorothy is survived by, two daughters, Christine (Rich) Besch of Union Grove and Tammy Francis of Kenosha; three grandchildren, James (Denise) Morgan, Michael Scott Morgan and Cassandra Ann Francis; two great grandchildren, Zachary Michael Morgan and Malakai Zachariah King Smith; two brothers, Bill (Neva) Hileman and James D. Hileman; her sister, Edna Hileman; her cat and special companion, Lily as well as other family and friends.

Funeral services for Dorothy will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Lord of Life Lutheran Church (5601 – Washington Road) with interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday at the Church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
