Dorothy F. Fennell, age 87 a resident of Racine died Friday February 2, 2007 at Lincoln Village Convalescent Center.
She was born on January 5, 1920 to Edward and Marie (Petersen) Fick in Racine. She attended the schools in Racine, graduating from Park High School.
She married William Fennell in Racine on October 25, 1941. He preceded her in death in 1992.
She worked in the accounts payable department employed by Walker Manufacturing and Nelson Electric both of Racine. She was a member of Atonement Lutheran Church, and a member of the United Commercial Travelers (UCT).
She enjoyed knitting and crocheting.
She is survived by a son Timothy Fennell of Waupaca; daughter Kathi Hoefert of Racine; daughter-in-law Ruth Ann Fennell of Racine; two grandchildren Jason Lowery of Dover Delaware, and Brooke Hoefert of Racine; one sister Joyce Bellgraph of Racine; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a son Mick Fennell, her parents, a son-in-law Richard Hoefert, and brother George Fick.
A memorial service will take place Saturday February 10, 2007 at 11:00am at Atonement Lutheran Church in Racine. (2915-Wright Avenue).
