Dorothy E. Prado, age 23 a resident of Kenosha, died October 17, 2017 at St. Catherine’s Hospital from medical complications. Her spirit lives on in her infant baby Isabelle Rose born August 21, 2017.
She was born in Kenosha on December 2, 1993; the beloved daughter of Samuel and Jennifer (Hartnell) Avila.
In Life you meet very few people that touch you forever. Dorothy was one of those people, she had an amazing spirit and was so full of life. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. Her smile and sassiness lit up every room she entered, and she loved making people laugh. Dorothy touched the lives of everyone she met in a way only she could. She will always be our Unicorn under the Rainbow.
Mom, Dad, and Brother Joe loved her deeply she was the light of our lives. Isabelle Rose will keep that love forever. Dorothy deeply loved her Isabelle Rose and Destiny her little sister, who she loved to Snap-chat, text, and get their nails done together.
Dorothy graduated from Indian Trail Academy. She was employed at Good Value Pharmacy as a pharmacy technician.
Surviving are her parents Jennifer and Samuel Avila, her brother Joseph Prado, her grandparents John and Eileen Hartnell, and her precious infant daughter Isabelle Rose, along with Isabelle’s father Benito Arteaga.
She was preceded in death by her father Remijio Prado in 2004.
Visitation with the family will be on Monday October 23, 2017 at Trinity Lutheran Church from 4:00PM until 7:00PM. Private funeral services will be held. Burial will take place at Greenridge Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials to the family would be appreciated.
