Dorothy (Zotas) Cornwell, 77, a resident of Burlington, passed away on August 21, 2006 at her home.
Born on March 6, 1929 in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of Alex and Pearl (Best) Zotas. She moved to Burlington in 1965 and was employed as a waitress at The Coach Lamp restaurant for many years.
She enjoyed playing cards, going out to eat, cooling, pets and her garden. She loved listening to the radio and was a huge fan of the Milwaukee Brewers. Above all, she absolutely loved and cherished the time she spent with her family and friends.
She will be sadly missed by her family, friends, and loving partner of 34 years Lawrence (Ducky) Kramer of Burlington.
She is survived by her two children, son Donald Anderson of Algoma WI, and daughter Debbie (Tom) Obenauf of Salem WI; four grandchildren Heidi (Tony) Pergande of Franklin WI, Chrissy Obenauf of Marble CO, Laura Obenauf of Shakopee MN, and Tommy Obenauf of Salem; five great-grand-children including one on the way, Jenna, Rebecca and Emma Pergande, and Calvin Cox, a brother Alex (Virginia) Zotas of Aurora IL, and a sister Betty Thomas of Marseilles IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandson Patrick Obenauf, her brother Cleon Zotas, sister-in-law Verna Zotas, and brother-in-law Wayne Thomas.
A private memorial service is to be held in the near future near Burlington.
