Donna J. Pflieger, 85, of Kenosha passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Azura Memory Care of Kenosha North. Donna was born on February 2, 1933 in Eau Claire to Lyle and Catherine (LaLande) Hermanson. She was educated in the schools of Eau Claire. She married James J. Pflieger in 1958 in Eau Claire. Donna and her husband built a house in Kenosha in the 1960’s. She began her career at Kenosha Memorial Hospital as an x-ray tech and retired in the 1990’s as the radiology coordinator for the hospital. She and James parted ways in 1990. She was a member of St. Mark’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed animals, shopping, reading, solving crossword puzzles and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family, especially her grandkids.
She was preceded in death by, her parents and her sister, Merry Wing.
Donna is survived by, her daughter, Anne (John) Suarez of Huntley, IL; two grandchildren, Olivia and Jack Suarez; a sister, Shirley Hermanson of Sarasota, FL; her brother, Bill (LouAnn) Herron of Delavan
as well as nieces, nephews and friends.
A Memorial Mass for Donna will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mark’s Catholic Church (7117 -14th Avenue) with inurnment to follow in All Saints Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Pleasant Prairie Police Department’s “Shop with a Cop” program would be greatly appreciated.
