Dolores L. Zuhde, age 92 a resident of Pleasant Prairie WI, died Friday August 25, 2017 at Grande Prairie Health and Rehab.
Dolores was born March 22, 1925 in Kenosha to William and Florence (Hauser) Stolp. In 1942, she was united in marriage with William Zuhde. He preceded her in death in 2001.
Dolores worked at Coopers as a relief operator for over 20 years. She also spent 15 years working as a lunch lady at Curtis Strange Elementary School. Dolores was a wonderful homemaker. She loved to garden and bake, and enjoyed crocheting and reading. She was an avid Packer fan and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Surviving Dolores are her daughters, Bonnie (Bob) Gilliam of Arizona and Terrie (Pete) Nierenberger of Pleasant Prairie as well as her grandsons Richard (Cheryl) Gilliam of Arizona and William Nierenberger of Kenosha and her great-granddaughter Amanda.
Preceding Dolores in death were her parents, her husband, two sisters, Beatrice and Ursula and one brother.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday August 29, 2017 at 7:00PM at Kemper Centers Founders Hall in Kenosha. (6501 3rd Avenue) Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday in Founders Hall from 5:30PM until the time of services. Burial will take place later. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association would be appreciated.
