David Rozzoni, 69, entered the gates of Heaven, into the loving arms of his Precious Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ, surrounded by his loving family.
David was born on March 25,1955, to Willard & Lillian (Bierdz) Rozzoni. He attended local schools & graduated from Bradford High School in 1973. On October 15,1977, he was joined in marriage to Diana Marie Lugo. They were married 46 years.
David was employed by Pepsi General Bottlers for 38 years, where he started out washing floors & worked his way up to Warehouse Manager. He then worked for Weiman Products in Gurnee, IL, until his retirement in May of 2021. He was a regular attendee of Racine Bible Church.
In 1999, David surrendered his life to the Lord & served him faithfully from that day forward. Although the last two years of his life were medically challenging with very serious illnesses, he never wavered in his faith. He always said that it’s all part of God’s plan for his life. The Lord used it to draw him even closer the Himself. He fought hard through each new battle knowing, knowing that the Lord held him in the palm of His hands & would never let him go. He was always praising the Lord and thanking Him for for all the blessings He bestowed upon him & his family up until his very last day. He was a ray of sunshine everywhere he went. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him & loved him.
David was an avid woodworker, gardener, & all-around handyman, always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He also enjoyed golfing, and in his younger years you could catch him playing softball at local ball parks, playing on multiple teams.
More than anything, David loved his family. His devoted wife, 2 daughters & sons-in-law, & 7 grandsons, were his pride & joy. And with David always telling stories & jokes, and being quite the prankster, there was always a lot of laughter in their lives.
He & Diana enjoyed many car rides, albeit usually the same scenery, there were always new stories to be told. But he always said that the best part of those rides was being together and talking & laughing. And there was always a lot of laughing between the two of them.
David is survived by his loving wife, daughters, Therese (William) Farrell & Tami (Patrick) Runyard, 7 grandsons, Logan (Olivia Henry), Aydan (Logan Luis), Quinn & Brennan Farrell, Noah (Jarrett Covelli), Hunter & Mason Runyard, a sister, Sandra (Ray) Zeigler, a brother, Willard, Jr. (Annemarie) Rozzoni, a sister-in-law Fran Rozzoni, many nieces & nephews, and great nieces & nephews, and 2 “pseudo” grand-babies, Dominic & Oliver Goergen.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Richard & Gerald, his mother and father-in-law, Fabio & Stella Lugo, and best friend & golfing buddy, Steven Roest.
The family would like to thank Dr. David Knight and all the staff at Froedtert South Cancer Center. The care, compassion and love we received from each of you was an incredible BLESSING. You helped our long & sometimes rough days during the crazy journey we were on, much more enjoyable. You all went above and beyond anything we’ve ever experienced before, and we are forever grateful. We have grown to love you all very much. You are absolutely second to none and not a one of you will ever be forgotten!
A Memorial service will be held on Monday May 20th 2024 at 5:00PM at the Racine Bible Church. (12505-Spring Street, Sturtevant WI, 53177) Visitation with the family will be on Monday at the church from 3:30PM until the time of service.

Dave was always so much fun to be around – especially at the softball games with my husband Al. To learn that he knew Christ as his Lord and Savior was such a joy to hear! Go rest high Dave, I’ll see you when I get there…!
